I met Chelsea while living in New Mexico a few years back, she was actually my 1st photography session shortly after we moved there from Las Vegas. We became friends and I ended up working for her doing bookings at her amazing hair salon in town as well! She was so sweet and welcoming to my family being in a new foreign place so far from home. We absolutely loved our time living there in the high mountains of NM, but ultimately wanted to be closer to family in Utah. The opportunity of moving to Moab came sooner than expected and we couldn't pass it up.
Luckily, getting to live in such an amazing and touristy town, we get to see many of our old friends that come to play and adventure in the desert! When she reached out about taking her pictures in Moab for her recent elopement, I couldn't wait! We woke up with sunny skies and the weather soon turned... We changed plans and hustled out to Dead Horse Point early to beat the storm and I'm so glad we did! There was such a beautiful dusting of snow on the rocks and we got there just in time as the whole drive home and next day was a Moab blizzard!
